Dr. Stevens currently sees patients at Arizona Ear Institute locations.

A native to the Phoenix area, Dr. Stevens received his bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in 2006 before graduating from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2010. After completing medical school, Dr. Stevens attended the Medical University of South Carolina to complete his residency in otolaryngology. In 2017, Dr. Stevens completed a fellowship in Neurotology, Otology, and Skull Base surgery at the University of Cincinnati college of Medicine and will soon receive dual board status in Neurotology.

Dr. Stevens has a passion for surgery of the lateral skull base as well as hearing implant technology. He is an active fellow of the American Neurotology Society and serves within the American Academy of Otolaryngology as a member of various committees and as a question bank writer.

Dr. Stevens has authored over 35 peer-reviewed research manuscripts and 12 book chapters and continues to conduct clinical research, deliver national and regional research presentations, and hold local lecture series. To this end, Dr. Stevens maintains research collaborations with both The University of Arizona and Barrow Neurologic Institute. Dr. Stevens and his team at the Arizona Ear Institute continue to maintain a world-class cochlear implant program for children and adults with advanced hearing loss, and as of 2019, have successfully started a nationally-certified Auditory Brainstem Implant (ABI) program; on of only twenty such programs in the country.

Equally important to his academic pursuits, Dr. Stevens appreciates the significance of individualized relationships with his patients and considers this to be the most rewarding aspect of his profession. Dr. Stevens enjoys his life’s journey with his wife Gina and their three boys, Aaron, Noah, and Luke. He is very active in his community, including free health screenings and outreach programs. In his free time, he indulges in reading, hiking, camping, and playing sports with his boys.
