Dr. H. Andrew Couch is licensed in Arizona as a Doctor of Audiology and Dispensing Audiologist. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He then studied at the University of Arizona where he obtained his degree as a Doctor of Audiology.
Dr. Couch is Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
He specializes in diagnosing hearing loss, fitting hearing aids, mapping cochlear implants and providing solutions to help with effective communication. Dr. Couch is a strong believer in evidence-based practice and incorporates a strong foundation of academic knowledge into his clinical practice.
Dr. Couch grew up in Colorado and he resides in Phoenix with his wife. Dr. Couch has severe to profound hearing loss and has worn hearing aids for most of his life. It is his personal experience with hearing loss that motivated him to enter the field of audiology. In his free time, he likes being with his friends and family, likes to listen to vinyl records and likes to explore the great outdoors.
