Happy Ears Hearing Center is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Audiology Technician to join our growing team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone interested in healthcare, hearing technology, and direct patient care. Working alongside an experienced audiologist, you will gain valuable clinical experience in a fast-paced specialty practice dedicated to improving quality of life through better hearing.

Position Summary
The Audiology Technician plays an essential role in supporting audiologists with patient care, hearing aid services, fitting orientations, Bluetooth troubleshooting and app education, clinical documentation, and daily clinic operations. This position helps improve clinic efficiency, enhances the patient experience, and ensures seamless clinical flow throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Prepare patients for appointments by obtaining medical and hearing device history, and documenting relevant information.
- Assist audiologist with patient assessment and hearing healthcare services.
- Support hearing aid fittings, troubleshooting, maintenance, routine follow-up care, and minor repairs.
- Educate patients and families on hearing aid use, care, cleaning, and connectivity features.
- Conduct post-fitting follow-up calls and assist with ongoing patient care coordination.
- Assist with patient preparation, device preparation, and room turnover.
Clinical Operations
- Maintain, clean, and monitor audiology equipment to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.
- Accurately document patient encounters using appropriate medical terminology and proper English/grammar.
- Manage clinical inventory and coordinate ordering of supplies as needed.
- Assist with scheduling, patient records management, and front-office support when necessary.
- Support compliance with HIPAA, patient privacy standards, and healthcare regulations.
Patient Experience
- Create a welcoming, compassionate, and efficient experience for every patient and family.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and team members.
- Help foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on exceptional patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Required
- High School Diploma or experience with hearing loss.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable learning and working with medical equipment and hearing technology.
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals of all ages.
Preferred
- Previous experience in audiology, ENT, hearing aid dispensing, or another specialty healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient care procedures.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and healthcare documentation.
- Demonstrated interest in audiology, hearing healthcare, or a related healthcare career path.
Compensation & Benefits:
Total Compensation – $19.50 – $ 21.00 / hour (Based on experience and performance)
